I don’t about you, but I feel like December crept up on me and slapped me in the face. Where did 2016 go? It really flew by. But I digress. With December upon us, Christmas is slowly approaching, meaning our window for Christmas shopping is getting smaller by the day.
Luckily, today we’re talking about stocking fillers for the beauty junkies on your list. I love stocking gifts, because they’re low-pressure, usually don’t cost an arm and a leg, and add greatly to the unwrapping experience. My favorite stocking gifts are small things I will use often, take with me, or are a little more luxury than I’d typically gift to myself–even if it’s a sample/holiday size. The next few products mentioned are sure to please any recipient on your list this year, so let’s jump right in.
For the fragrance lover:
Elizabeth & James Find Your Nirvana Rollerball Set: I mentioned this in my Sephora VIB Sale wishlist and haul, and I have been loving the set. They’re small rollerballs that smell amazing, and the scents can be layered or worn alone. What’s great about this is that since the full-sized fragrances are so expensive, you are able to test out the scents without committing to a full-size.
Nest Holiday Ornament Scented Candle: Everyone loves getting a candle, especially from a luxury fragrance brand. This is most likely something most wouldn’t buy for themselves. This year’s holiday fragrance is a blend of pomegranate, mandarin orange, pine, cloves, and cinnamon with hints of vanilla and amber which will prolong the holiday spirit after Christmas morning. (Tempted to buy one for myself, because that sounds like it’d smell amazing!)
For the manicure lover:
Deborah Lippman Her Majesty Gel Lab Pro Nail Polish Set: Ringing in at $45, this may seem a bit steep for one stocking stuffer, but my thought was breaking this up among a few stockings. While you definitely could gift the entire set to one gal on your list, sets like this are easy to break up and gifted to multiple friends. These colors are luxurious and beautiful, not to mention Deborah Lippman polishes last ages on the nails and are formulated to be really comfortable and nourishing.
Tocca Crema da Mano Collezioni Hand Cream Set: Again, it’s own the set is a bit pricey for a stocking, but it’s something that can easily be broken and dispersed. Tocca hand creams are luxurious and moisturizing, and smell amazing. The creams are named and transport you to places around the globe. For example ‘Cleopatra’ is inspired by the Mediterranean seductress and her beauty rituals, ‘Giuletta’ is inspired by the love story between Italian director Federico Fellini and his wife Giulietta Masina.
For the bath lover:
Lush ‘Festive Friends’ Christmas Gift: Pre-wrapped, this luscious delight consists of the Butterbear, Father Christmas, and The Christmas Penguin bath bombs and bubble bars that will transform the bath into something of dreams. Lush also curates other inexpensive groupings of bath products that would make amazing stocking fillers.
Heathcote & Ivory Blush Rose Bathing Flowers: Christmas is the perfect time to receive completely unnecessary and excess gifts, and these bathing flowers are exactly that, but still fab. What are bathing flowers, exactly? Scented flower buds. That’s all.
For the skincare lover:
Eco Tools Dry Body Brush: I’m a big fan of dry brushing, which is simply running a brush over dry skin before showering or bathing as a way to exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells. For someone who is really into skincare, this would be an awesome gift, and probably something new they could introduce into their routine.
Peter Thomas Roth Mask Sampler Kit: Any skincare lover would love to receive a group of deluxe sized luxury face masks, and like some of the other sets, this is one that can easily broken apart and put into multiple stockings. This set includes masks that range from purifying to hydrating to firming masks.
For the makeup lover:
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick Duo: The Amuse Bouche lipstick formula from Bite Beauty is so creamy and pigmented, and it feels amazing on the lips. For the holiday season, they’ve come out with 4 limited edition duos. I’d love to receive any of them in my stocking. Hint, hint, Santa.
Real Techniques Brushes and Brush Sets: I haven’t listed a specific gift from Real Techniques, because I honestly like the majority of their brushes and tools. Any beauty lover will appreciate quality brushes, and you’ll love them because they won’t break the bank. I have, though, listed a few of my favorites:
- Starter Brush Set
- Expert Face Brush: perfect for foundation
- Setting Brush: great for powder highlight
- Bold Metals Tapered Blush Brush: my favorite blush brush
For the lover of everything (who also has everything):
Eye lash mug: While it’s really easy to buy for beauty lovers, because they are open to try anything, it can also be refreshing to buy them something that’s not a beauty product. Try gifting a beauty themed mug this year. This one with and eyelash decal is so cute and functional.
Spatty and Spatty Daddy Duo: Excuse me? The Spatty is a spatula that allows you to remove every last drop of makeup from the bottle. Anyone on your list who is a major beauty lover would appreciate this, even if they don’t know it yet.
